Postdoctoral Positions

Young minds who have defended their Ph.D. or submitted the thesis in photochemistry, spectroscopy, optics, chiroptic, and material science, are encouraged to apply for one of these Fellowships. We would be happy to host and support suitable applications.

Ph.D. Positions

If you have a master’s degree in Chemistry/Physics with a valid CSIR/GATE/INSPIRE score you are welcome to apply for the IISc PhD programme. Engineering degree holders with valid GATE score and strong desire to do research in a science lab in topics such as optics, display devices are also encouraged to apply. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by the Department of Inorganic and Physical Chemistry.

Masters/Bachelors students who are interested to learn strong coupling are most welcome to apply. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply for summer fellowships of Science Academies’ that have financial assistance.
